Anne Frank Stichting – packing and transport
The project
For the Anne Frank Stichting, we managed the transport and packaging of loans for the exhibition Anne Frank. The Exhibition at the Center for Jewish History in New York. The exhibition features a replica of the Secret Annex as well as original objects from the foundation’s collection. Imming Logistics Fine Art was responsible for the packing, transport, and supervision of this valuable collection to the United States.
The challenges
The collection consisted of more than 100 fragile objects, ranging from documents to pieces of furniture. The challenge was to pack and transport these diverse items safely and efficiently, taking into account the specific requirements of air freight and international loan procedures.
Our plan of action
The objects were gathered at our depot and packed into custom-made crates. Accompanied by couriers, the crates were transported to Schiphol Airport and prepared for air freight. Upon arrival in New York, the transport was handled in cooperation with our local agent. Throughout the entire process, care and collaboration were key.
The result
Thanks to thorough preparation and close collaboration, the project ran smoothly and according to plan. Anne Frank. The Exhibition opened in January 2025 and has since attracted many international visitors. We are proud to have contributed to this special project.
