At our secure, fully climate-controlled art storage facility in Zwaag, we store individual works of art and complete collections for short or long periods. Opened in April 2022, our modern facility meets high standards in climate control, security and sustainability and offers more than 6,000 m² of storage space.

Flexible short- and long-term art storage

Our facility offers flexible art storage, from a single work of art to a complete collection. Temporary storage may be needed during a renovation or relocation, or before and after an exhibition. We tailor the storage space to the requirements of each museum, business or private collection, using picture racks and other specialist storage systems. This keeps every work secure, easy to locate and stored under the right conditions.

Facilities for collection management

Our viewing room provides a dedicated space for viewing and inspecting works of art. We also offer a collection workspace for condition checks and inventory projects. Our secure, fully climate-controlled private storage rooms are lockable, providing dedicated space where works of art and paintings can be kept in optimal conditions.

Art transport, packing and storage

Art storage at Imming Logistics Fine Art can be combined with professional art transport, custom-made packing and art handling. We can collect the works, pack them carefully and transport them safely to our storage facility. Our collection workspace can also be used for condition checks and inventory work. This means that transport, handling and storage are all carefully coordinated.

Secure, climate-controlled art storage

Our art storage facility is fully climate-controlled and meets strict security requirements for the storage of valuable works of art and collections. Temperature and relative humidity are monitored 24 hours a day, allowing any changes to be detected quickly. Separate compartments and lockable storage rooms ensure that works of art are kept secure and under stable conditions.

Sustainable art storage

Sustainability is central to our approach. Our art storage facility operates without natural gas and uses energy-saving technology, including electric air-source heat pumps. By dividing the facility into separate sections, we reduce heat loss and only condition the space that is needed. Our art storage facility is centrally located in North Holland, close to the A7 motorway. Amsterdam, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and other parts of the Netherlands are easy to reach from our location, whether works of art are being delivered or collected, or you are visiting the facility.
